With Labor Day just over one week away, I think it’s safe to say that most people are starting to come to terms with the fact that summer is ending. Kids are going back to school as fall steadily approaches. Are you ready? Can’t say I am.
On the bright side, with the change of seasons comes a change in our wardrobes – and fashionistas everywhere are blissfully gearing up their closets for the season ahead…
If you’re looking to proactively update your fall look book, here are a few must-haves:
1. Sweaters, Sweaters, Sweaters
Sweater weather, here we come. A major trend we started to see last year was the rise of cardigans, so naturally, we’re stocking up. H&M’s Rib-Knit Cardigan in Cream can bring you from day to night so effortlessly – how could you possibly refuse?!
Necklace: Missoma
With that said, it isn’t a secret that H&M knitwear is one of the best in the game, so I also had to pick up this beige mock-neck. Coupled with black jeans and a cap-toe flat, you’re set for a chilly fall day.

2. Neutral Blazers
To me, fall is all about a neutral pallet. Nordstrom captured the essence of this coming season with their Something Navy Drapey Double Breasted Blazer. It fit so perfectly into my wardrobe as a lightweight, transitional piece.

3. The Silk Skirt
Speaking of transitional pieces, I’m loving this zebra print silk skirt (similar here). Pair with your trusty cardy for an effortless, on-trend look.
Necklace: Missoma, Shoes: Havaianas
4. Cream Denim
Goodbye white, hello cream. If you’re anything like me and have a hard time ditching your white jeans come fall/winter, incorporating cream denim into the rotation is a nice update. I fell in love with this high-rise pair from, you guessed it, H&M.

What do you have your eye on this fall?
