WITW’s Favorite Turkey Chili Recipe

I don’t know about you, but as the fall/winter months set in, we’re ALL about a good cup of soup…or chili. That’s why we wanted to share our all-time favorite turkey chili recipe that’s both healthy and delicious.

What you’ll need:

1 onion
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 bell pepper
1 lb of ground turkey
3/4 cup of chicken broth
12 oz of crushed tomatoes
4 tablespoons of chili powder
2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons of salt (add more later for taste)
1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes (add more or less depending on your preferred spice level)
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 can of cannellini beans
1 can of red kidney beans
1 can of original Rotel tomatoes

1 sliced avocado
Shredded cheese (amount is up to you)
1 tablespoon of sour cream
Tortilla chips

How to make it:

Start by sauteeing your onion, garlic, and bell pepper in chicken broth on high heat until translucent. Then, brown the turkey all the way through. Next, add your chili powder and crushed tomatoes and stir. Throw in Italian seasoning,  salt, red pepper flakes, and cumin. Mix thoroughly. Turn to low heat and add your beans and Rotel tomatoes and let simmer for 2-3 minutes – it’s as easy as that!
